Welcome to the conference page of the interest group “FT-MS and High-Resolution MS”

We are pleased to invite you to the biennial meeting of the interest group “FT-MS and High-Resolution MS” of the German Society for Mass Spectrometry (DGMS). The interest group aims to offer a forum for those working with FT-ICR-MS and other high-resolution instrumentation such as Orbitrap or TOF instruments. It is open to all doing high-resolution and accurate mass analyses. Everyone interested in advanced mass spectrometry exploring the potential of high mass resolution and accuracy is invited. The conference will take place at the Natural Science Campus of the University of Rostock (Campus “Südstadt”) at the Research Building of the Department Life, Light & Matter.

Abstract Submission

Please send your abstract directly to christopher.ruegeruni-rostockde by the 25th of August as a *.pdf or .docx file. The abstract should be at most 500 words. Figures are welcome, but the overall length should not exceed one page (double column, single line spacing, Arial or comparable font type, size 11). The final program will be announced at the 1st of September and uploaded here.


Travel Grants for Students

Travel grants are advertised and organized by the DGMS: Students who meet the guidelines may apply for a DGMS travel grant via the online form (only) on the DGMS Website before the 31th of August, 2023. Students applying for a travel grant will receive a flat rate of 300 €. Students from closer distances (all people from Mecklenburg-Western Pomerania, Hamburg, Berlin, Brandenburg, and Schleswig-Holstein) will receive a reduced flat rate of 150 €. Importantly, students who apply for a travel grant will have to confirm by signature that no additional third-party financial support is available.
